This semi hadn’t been updated since the 70’s. We fully renovated the house to match the young family who moved in. Like so many homes in the area there was no front hall closet. We deigned a custom millwork piece that combines a hall closet with a quartz topped sideboard for loads of storage.

The kitchen had an awkward layout that needed a major update. We opted to continue the unique quartz countertops onto the walls creating a beautiful backdrop for the kitchen.

The bathroom received a unique floor tile and warm brushed nickel fixtures.

This bathroom is located in an older home and has been renovated many times over the years. The goal was to update the fixtures and finishes in a style that was in keeping with the era of the home.

The hexagon floor tiles, white subway tiles and the beautiful oak vanity reference the more traditional elements. The heated flooring and LED mirror lean more modern but are a great addition to this sophisticated room.

The kitchen and the bathroom required new layouts to improve function. All new floors and windows dramatically altered the dated feel of the house. Now a family enjoys this bright and modern home.

This beautiful three story red brick home hadn’t been renovated in decades. The clients really wanted to save the character of the home and also update it to suit their family. There are so many lovely custom millwork pieces and exciting punches of colour and pattern in this home.

This kitchen is filled with natural light and beautiful finishes. The warm Acacia hardwood flooring marries beautifully with the navy cabinets. The Fisher & Paykel appliances add sparkle. The Calcutta gold quartz countertops have a warm vein that ties into the warm tones in the room. The original kitchen lacked storage so we added a large unit in white cabinetry opposite the main kitchen. The window and door were enlarged to brighten up the space. This is an example of how good design and expert installation can make an Ikea kitchen look custom.

This bachelor apartment had amazing bones and was just waiting for a simple refresh. Painting all the walls white and refinishing the hardwood floors did wonders.

The beautiful millwork in this living room creates such a warm cocoon like feeling, thank goodness is was in great shape.

The light filled bedroom was a blank slate that really benefited from paint and new lighting. The rest is just simple furnishings and accessories.

The bathroom was a total gut job. The classic black and white hexagon floor tile is a nod to the era of the building. The shower surround is elongated subway tile laid in a double herringbone pattern. The only thing we kept from the original bathroom is the elegant deco cast iron tub.

This heritage home had been cut up into several dark rental units. We brought the house back to the studs on all three floors. The main floor has a large bright kitchen that opens onto a lush backyard. This open sunny kitchen is all Ikea! There is so much storage and lots of room to work.

The bathroom was formerly a bedroom that we converted into a large four piece. The spacious shower and clawfoot tub are next to a sunny window. The heated floors add a much needed warmth in cold Canadian winters.

This kitchen functioned well but was in desperate need of an update. The client was happy with the original layout so we worked together to bring it into the present day.

This is another Ikea kitchen that looks like a million bucks. Patterns and colour is brought into the room through the granite countertops and warm hardwood floors.

The original apartment has been neglected for years and was broken up into small rooms. We completely demolished the unit and reconfigured the space. Now the main living space is bright and welcoming.

The client wanted lots of storage solutions so we added many closets and shelving units. All the interior doors are beautiful custom birch which add height and warmth.

For this project the client wanted to renovate and update two apartments in a duplex. The budget did not allow for an entirely new kitchen in both units so I updated the cabinets and appliances. We wanted the rentals to really pop so we used bright cabinet colours. There wasn’t a bathroom on the main floor so we added a crisp rental friendly three piece. These two bright and friendly units rented quickly.

It was a joy to stage this enormous three bedroom new built in the Mimico area. With a blank slate or modern finishes and large windows every piece looked very elegant.

We created a formal living room towards the front of the house and a casual family room off the open concept kitchen dining area. It wasn’t hard to create a warm and inviting space for a new family.

This house needed a fresh coat of paint and a little love. We brought in rental furniture, personal accessories and art to warm up this empty house. It sold over asking in record time.

For this project I worked with the clients existing furniture. I paired down and decluttered the spaces and then added accessories and hits of colour.
